Since 1999 we have treated a number of patients from all over the world. Some have come from other provinces in Canada, including: Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec. Others came from many different countries, including: the Netherlands, United States, Germany, Mexico, United Kingdom, Brazil, Singapore and many more! We have a special program designed for out of town patients.
Treatment Program for Out of Town Patients
WVIP treatment is divided into two phases:
Phase 1: Come to Vancouver for 10 days. During this time, we will give you 20 Acupuncture treatments.
Phase 2: We will give you a 3 month supply of herbs for you to take back home. You will take these herbs everyday in the form of tea.
After completion of Phase 2, the patient is advised to undergo an eye exam and visual field test by their specialist. Then come back to Vancouver to start a new round of treatment.
Before you come, we need you to do the following tests:
- Visual Acuity
- Goldman Visual Field Test
- ERG
- Retina Photograph
- Dark Adaptation Test
- Colour Vision Test
After your 10 day treatment in Vancouver, you need to do the above tests again to access improvement gained from the WVIP treatment.
